From Jurassic limestone soils, the 2015 Rotenberg is nicely clear but still marked by its long fermentation. It is pure, fresh and pretty stony on the nose, which leads to a medium-sweet, very round and elegant Riesling-driven wine with tropical fruit aromas and a lot of finesse. The finish is beautifully salty and even pure—it shows fleshy but highly delicate fruit.
