Dynamic and sleekly layered, with handsomely detailed flavors of cherry and guava accented by stony minerality, black tea and forest floor tones as this builds tension and richness toward refined tannins.
Lingua Franca first made this cuvee in 2015. The 2021 Pinot Noir Tongue 'N Cheek was 100% destemmed and pours a ripe ruby/magenta color. Coming from two vineyards, it’s ripe and forward in the glass, with a fruity bouquet of violets and black raspberries. It needs a little air on opening, but it’s ripe with a touch of iron-rich mineral notes through the palate, ripe tannins, and a note of orange oil. Drink 2025-2037.
