This is a beautiful wine from Latour à Pomerol, an estate which seems to be going from strength to strength under the renewed vigor and leadership of Christian Moueix and his winemaking team. Their 2005 offers gorgeous black cherry and truffle-infused fruit with hints of caramel, mocha and spice. The wine is medium to full-bodied and rich, with velvety tannin, a multi-layered texture, and a long, long finish
