A lighter version of the 2010 Pagodes, the 2008 offers up aromas of herbs, incense, charcoal, black currants and cherries. An elegant, mid-weight wine with sweet tannin as well as an attractive, open-knit personality, it should drink nicely for a decade.
Blackberry aromas, with spices and toasty oak. Medium-bodied, with bright fruit and spicy undertones. A little short, but very pretty.
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 17/20 points.
