The 2015 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos used to aged all in large used barrels, though these days there is a very small percentage that stays in stainless steel to lend more crispness to the wine. It has a crisp, apple blossom and freshly sliced pear bouquet. There is fine transparency here - a Les Clos with a bit of aromatic oomph. The palate is well balanced with a fine line of acidity; harmonious in the mouth with attractive salinity, if not quite the penetration conveyed by the 2014 Chablis Les Clos. Nonetheless, I envisage this giving 10-12 years of drinking pleasure, possibly more.
