Robert Parker (90)

The Arnaud Ente 2014 Meursault Villages is excellent, opening in the glass with notes of tart green apple, lemon oil, lime zest and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is medium-full and elegantly glossy, built around a lovely line of ripe acids and finishing with unmistakably chalky grip. A Meursault that emphasizes intensity and precision over sheer scale. Ente's Meursault Villages derives from two lieux-dits: En l'Ormeau on the plain (which is also the source of Ente's Clos des Ambres and Sève du Clos bottlings) and Les Casse-Têtes on the hillsides, the vines having been planted in 1952-1953 and 1998, respectively.

Jancis Robinson (18)

Lime and linden leaves plus some blossom. Lots going on here. Great tension with a wonderful undertow of these vegy aromas and tightly packed fruit and acidity.
