The 2018 Bourgogne Rouge opens in the glass with a pretty and expressive bouquet of cherries, berries and hints of forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, deep and structured, it's a serious wine that's starkly different from its supple, open-knit 2017 counterpart. As readers will remember, this cuvée derives from vines in the communes of Brochon and Gevrey-Chambertin.
