Picked 6–16 September. From 13 parcels all over the village of Meursault. Tank sample.
Quite rich and round with juicy floral elements. A real humdinger with lots going on.
From parcels north of the village of Meursault, adjacent to Meursault Villages plots. Some oak usage but unobtrusive, yellow fruit, corn, flax. Blood orange, fennel. On the palate there is an initial full-bodied attack, slightly viscous, but also juicy and delicate phenolics, ripe, long-lasting acidity, a hint of firm minerality on the finish. Wonderful balance; creaminess is there, but also freshness.
