The shallow chalky soils of the 2011 Meursault Tillets, is at a higher elevation that Jean-Marc’s other vineyards and is east-facing, so that it is usually harvested around one week before others. It has a deliriously beautifully bouquet of limestone, powdered chalk, apricot blossom and a hint of quince that has exquisite delineation. The palate is very well-balanced with crisp acidity; harmonious apricot and white peach tinged fruit with a slight viscosity on the saline finish. This is difficult to keep to just one sip. Drink now-2025.
