Another strong performer is the 2021 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières (Domaine Louis Jadot), a medium to full-bodied, satiny and chiseled wine redolent of pear, freshly baked bread, Meyer lemon and toasted nuts. With racy acids and a long, saline finish, it's structured and concentrated, produced from low yields.
Mid yellow in colour. A slightly more buttery nose to the bouquet compared to Charmes and Genevrières. Then the stones reappear, a little touch of grapefruit, a very complete wine in all departments. Very good aftertaste with a solid core of white fruit and then some fresher citrus to finish.
