Burghound (91)

Pretty red and dark berry aromas are attractively laced with spice and floral nuances, especially violet. There is fine mid-palate density to the lightly stony and agreeably textured middleweight flavors that conclude in a dusty, youthfully austere, precise and well-balanced finale. Some patience advised.

Five plots. A very pretty mid purple with a clean fruit, the lively floral side of Chambolle. Excellent energy behind, this has got what it needs. A dark raspberry fruit with some violets.
