From part of this climat that's entitled only to the communal appellation, the 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Cras is more structured than the Clos du Village, unwinding in the glass with aromas of raspberries, plums, sweet spices and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, with fine concentration, bright acids and chalky tannins, it will merit a little bottle age.
This is also quite ripe yet just a bit fresher with its array that offers a similar fruit profile though there is more spice. There is also a bit more mid-palate density and minerality to the attractively textured medium weight flavors that conclude in a lingering and mildly austere finish where the only nit is a touch of warmth. This is very good for its level and worth checking out.
