Here the expressive nose is spicier still with its markedly floral nose that reflects notes of violet, lavender and rose petal on the black cherry and kirsch nuances. The suave, concentrated and seductively textured middleweight flavors where the velvety mouthfeel contrasts somewhat with the firm, serious and robust finale that exhibits excellent length. This will definitely need time but the quality is most impressive for a villages-level wine.
