A top note of exotic herbal tea combines with an exuberantly floral nose where the whole cluster vinification is a bit more obvious for the moment compared to the prior wines. The incredibly rich, velvety and palate soaking big-bodied flavors are notably more mineral-driven while retaining excellent power and delineation on the incredibly long finish. This is very classy with a superb underlying reserve of material that should allow this stunner of a Musigny to age for the better part of two decades. With that said, it could actually be enjoyed young so good is the density of material.
Creamy texture on the mouth-filling palate, like in a warm vintage, with great finesse. The right combination of ripeness and tightness. Dry roses and sour cherries. Extremely long, silky yet tight finish. Only 0.4 hectares of this holding are currently in production so very limited. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.
