An overtly spicy nose of violets, sandalwood, anise and both red and dark berry fruit aromas is both fresh and ripe. There is good intensity and ample minerality present on the middle weight flavors that possess fine detail on the dusty, complex and well-balanced finale. This should both drink reasonably well young but also reward up to a decade of cellar time.
