Beautiful clean pure fruit with a covering of clear white oak and a little toast, the depth comes on the palate with an admirable blend of fruit weight and some citrus style acidity. All in white fruit, still a fine grain despite the intensity of the fruit. Laurent works with a light hand.

Classic Montrachet. All terroir. Tropical fruit, some pear, very concentrated, but so elegant and balanced. The wine did not show its full potential, as it was still a bit closed after 5 years. In the next 5 years this will be a superb high end Montrachet.
