The 2012 Morey Saint Denis Village has a light herbaceous bouquet: quite earthy and autumnal. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins and candied orange peel towards the finish. This will constitute decent easy-drinking Morey Saint Denis.
There is a discreet touch of wood highlighting very fresh and agreeably bright aromas of various red berries and soft earth nuances. I like the detail and energy of the delicious, supple and very round medium weight flavors that possess just enough minerality to notice on the saline, linear and well-balanced finish.
