Soft berry and spice notes mark this elegant, silky-textured red, which is vibrant and shows hints of vanilla on the lingering finish. Well-balanced overall, needing time to open up. Best from 2012 through 2019. 10 cases imported.
An ever so slightly more deeply pitched red and blue pinot fruit nose evidences a touch more ripeness as well that carries over to the exceptionally pretty, supple and admirably pure flavors that are also built on a base of firm minerality and extremely fine tannins. Lovely if youthfully austere at this early point.
