Jancis Robinson: Barely mid ruby and nobly pale. Quite ripe nose with a suggestion of dried fruit and just an idea of tar. It is undeniably attractive but at the same time seems already a little sped-up in its evolution. Rose hip, cherry and a hint of oak and wet, dark earth. Supple red fruit with soft, grainy tannins becoming more prominent on the finish. A bit simple, it must be said, but this is the first try so probably much more to come in the future.
A bright, cherry- and herb-laced red, this elegant and vibrant version features flashes of mineral and tobacco on the finish. Shows excellent balance and well-integrated tannins, which should be absorbed soon, with a beam of red fruit that lingers.
Fresh dried strawberries with flowers and sandalwood. Orange peel. Medium-bodied with very fine tannins with a creamy and mineral texture and a long finish. Extremely well crafted for the vintage.
