Disgorged a year ago, Lamblot's NV Brut Nature Les Côtes Chéries is all from the 2019 vintage, deriving from a parcel with sandy soils near the village of Gueux. Offering up aromas of pear, toasted nuts, white flowers and beeswax, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and elegant, with a satiny attack, a deep but fine-boned mid-palate and a long, chalky, sapid finish. The vins clairs saw fully two years' élevage before tirage. This will be fascinating to follow over the next dozen years.
