The 2002 Le Nombre d'Or Campanae Veteres Vites is 25% Fromenteau, 20% Arbanne, 20% Petit Meslier, 15% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier. The wine is gorgeous and vibrant in its expression of flowers, orange peel, smoke, minerals and spices. Slightly oxidative notes add a further measure of complexity. This is an exotic, captivating wine that engages all of the senses at once, inviting a quiet moment of contemplation. The wine will offer its finest drinking at the dinner table.
