Disgorged in Decmember 2018 with 2.8 grams per liter dosage, the 2013 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru Les Nogers displays notes of fresh peach, crushed chalk, beeswax and walnut oil. On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, with racy acids, chalky structuring extract and a long, mineral finish. From a Cuis lieu-dit that segues from sandy to chalky soils as one ascends the slope, this is a formidable Blanc de Blancs in the making.
A positively stunning Champagne, the 2013 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru Les Nogers emerges from 55-year-old vines in Cuis. In the glass, the 2013 is explosive and just drenched with all sorts of mineral-infused citrus/floral notes. There is a translucency to the 2013 that is absolutely beguiling. Disgorged: December, 2018.
