A blend of 60% Grenache with 20% each Mourvèdre and Syrah, the 2019 Lirac Vieilles Vignes aged in a combination of concrete and wooden vats. Compared with the 2020 (still in vat), it's a bit darker, richer and more structured, with concentrated black-cherry fruit, subtle spice and licorice nuances and a long, velvety finish. It should drink well at least through 2030.
