Bright, supple and expressive, this red exudes strawberry, cherry, wild rosemary and thyme aromas and flavors. Pure and graceful, yet with plenty of chalky tannins for support. All the components are in the right proportion, with a beam of cherry on the lingering aftertaste. Best from 2025 through 2043.
Delicate scents recalling pressed rose, hay, eucalyptus and forest floor mingle with whiffs of spice. The full-bodied palate offers dried cherry, aniseed and ground clove alongside taut, fine-grained tannins that leave a drying close. Kerin O’Keefe
