Barolo. Mid ruby with orange tinges. Undeniably attractive nose of new oak and deep red fruit. The palate is much more genuine, with grainy, chewy tannins supporting the red fruit that is layered and perfectly balanced by supple acidity. Complex, aromatic finish. Impressive.

A slightly austere red, with a core of pure cherry buried within a dense texture and a tannic structure. Though tightly wound, this shows concentrated fruit, along with iron, tobacco, tar and eucalyptus flavors.

Fresh and clean with roses, citrus and orange peel. Medium body, firm and silky tannins and a chewy finish. Needs time to soften.
