Very attractive with dried cherries and raspberries as well as dried roses, nut shell and spice box. Medium-bodied. Vivid and dynamic palate with compact tannins that are velvety in texture. Lengthy and focused with an attractive fruit character
The Michele Chiarlo 2020 Barbaresco Faset delivers a pretty ensemble of wild berry or raspberry aromas with rose, lavender bud, light cinnamon stick and licorice root. These various elements are well integrated and balanced, showing smoothly over a polished, mid-weight mouthfeel.
Pure and vibrant aromas of cranberry and wild strawberry lift from the glass as hints of thyme, forest floor and crushed chalk slowly surface. The palate's core is defined by the electric and vivid wild red-fruit flavors that zoom in and out of focus as savory and earth elements provide counterbalance while superfine tannins hold the wine together, finishing with a charm and finesse.
