The 2005 Brunello di Montalcino is a pretty, delicate offering laced with raspberries, truffles and sweet spices. This bright, high-toned Brunello offers outstanding length on the palate and a refined, silky finish. With time in the glass the inner perfume and sweetness emerges, rounding out the wine nicely. The wine is approachable today, but also offers quite a bit of potential down the road.
Dark cherries and candied citrus fruit on the nose. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and lots of ripe fruit. Long and rich. Turns exotic and gorgeous. Layered and beautiful.
