Holyrood was created with the intention of proving that there is another way to produce whisky and to introduce a different type of whisky brand to the market. We actively explore new recipes using heritage malts, specialty malts, and various yeast strains in our production process. These heritage and specialty malts and yeasts are the same raw materials used in brewing different wort and are responsible for the wide variety of flavors found in worts.
Official tasting note:
- Nose: Caramel, creamy fudge, demerara sugar, Dutch tablet fudge.
- Palate: Red fruit, vanilla, and cornflakes.
- Finish: Velvety biscuit texture, mouthwatering, with a hint of savory at the end.
