The 2022 Kirchenstück G.C. is deep, intense and refined on the concentrated nose that reveals apricot and iodine notes and indicates great complexity. Full-bodied, enormously deep and rich on the palate, this is an intense, tight and powerful yet refined, vital and persistently saline Kirchenstück. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023.

Greatness is written all over this dry riesling masterpiece, but in spite of that, it creeps up on you very stealthily and you don’t realize what’s really going on until you have been gently pulled far too deep into this riesling black hole. So graceful and filigree at the almost endless finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Wild-fermented in large neutral oak. Very limited production. Vegan.
