The 2013 Proprietary Red Blend Cuvée 37.2 is a blend of 83% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. The wine is slightly more backward and less showy than its 2012 counterpart with a firmer edge. It offers an impressively saturated ruby/purple color, abundant blue and black fruits, and a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel. Although it may not turn out as sexy as the 2012, it may become more concentrated and broader-scaled.
James Suckling: Aromas of blackcurrants, chili paste and hints of raspberries. Full body, firm and silky tannins and a citrusy undertone. Better in 2018. Like the energy to this.
