Although I had higher hopes for this wine from cask, it has turned out to be an excellent St.-Emilion offering sweet black cherry, cola, smoke, plum, and mulberry characteristics. The wine is medium-bodied, plump, and fat, with low acidity and an up-front, flattering style.
Wonderful aromas of mineral, berry and plum. Medium-bodied, with silky tannins, but falls slightly short on the finish.
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 17/20 points.
