The exceptional 2002 Chablis Les Clos bursts with white flowers, smoke, salt, and flint. Medium to full-bodied, it has awesome depth, purity, concentration, and length. An underlying, coiled nugget of power can be discerned in this complex wine’s character. Rocks, pears, spices, seashells, and white peaches make up this glorious offering’s nuanced flavor profile.
Supple, yet lean and tautly structured beneath, this is dense and vibrant, featuring a core of honeysuckle, melon, mineral and vanilla flavors. It expands on the finish, but will open more with time.
