Domaine Coche-Dury, whether it was Jean-François or now his son Raphael, always turns out a great Aligoté and the 2012 Bourgogne Aligote is no different. From vines located just behind the family home, it has an attractive wax resin, dried white flower, puff pastry-scented bouquet that opens with confidence in the glass. The palate feels rounded in the mouth with a fine acidic line cutting through those lovely lemon curd and lime flower scents. You just cannot argue with this.
