The 2020 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru was the first vineyard to be picked and contains 35% whole bunch fruit. This has a pure and expressive, quite mineral-driven bouquet that unfurls with gusto in the glass whilst maintaining focus and precision. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, the whole bunch imparting a judicious white pepper/undergrowth edge, almost sorbet-fresh towards the finish with veins of blood orange. This is a stylish and very appealing Grand Cru from Prieur and it should age well in bottle.
