Rich and fleshy, the 2019 Meursault Les Meix Chavaux exhibits aromas of pear, mandarin and toasted nuts. Medium to full-bodied, layered and lively, it's a textural, enveloping wine that reflects the vintage as much as it does this inherently cool site.
A more elegant and slightly fresher nose speaks mostly of various white fleshed fruit, citrus confit and a whiff of grilled nuts. The caressing and fleshy, even juicy, medium weight flavors possess a bit more volume and complexity on the lemon-tinged finale. This should drink well early or reward a few years of keeping.
