Reduction. There is both good intensity and volume to the solidly concentrated and muscular larger-bodied flavors that possess ample muscle and punch on the youthfully austere and very serious, but not rustic, finale that exhibits terrific persistence. This is very much built to repay extended keeping though 5 to 7 years should be enough for it to be approachable.
Production consists of 2.5 barrels of destemmed fruit, and one in whole bunches. Mid crimson purple. The fruit shows a weight on the nose and the palate is superb, with a little bramble, definitely a floral aspect and a wealth of succulent raspberry and strawberry fruit, leading to a gorgeous finish. Drink from 2032-2045.
