A relatively prominent note of green tea is present on the more sauvage and less spicy aromas of mostly the essence of wild red berries. There is slightly better volume to the rich, caressing and seductively textured middleweight flavors that also conclude in a dusty if slightly less austere finale. This moderately firmer effort could use better depth but that should reasonably occur if given a chance.
Three plots, one in Mazoyères. Quite full crimson purple colour. The bouquet is quite restrained, suggesting fruit beneath but not quite ready to deliver. Pepper again, and a savoury take on cherry. The fruit has enough volume to cover its acidity and wood tannins though.
