This estate has been on a qualitative upswing for a number of years and the 2011 is a seductive effort revealing a dense ruby/plum color as well as fragrant notes of sweet cherries and spice, abundant fruit and glycerin, and a medium-bodied mouthfeel with no hard edges. It is a delicious, textbook Pomerol to drink now and over the next decade. It is a sleeper of the vintage.
