The Georges Lignier plots are scattered throughout Clos de la Roche, mostly in Mochamps and Chabiots. Medium depth of purple. This is cooler, fresher wine, with noticeably more precision, with some wood tannins behind, as is relatively typical for this vineyard. A little riper at the finish though
Cask sample. Very concentrated and introverted on the nose. Peppery spice. A touch of bitter olive character too. Entirely embryonic, yet there was a bit more promise in their Clos St-Denis, for me.
