Ripe and angular today, showing plenty of cherry, earth and mineral flavors, but still very closed. There's nice purity to the fruit and a great texture. Has all the elements in place but needs time.?
This is a big step up in aromatic elegance with a very high-toned, ultra pure red cherry and raspberry nose and supple, intense, mineral-driven and punch flavors that are ultra fine and precise. This is an exercise in finesse with textbook purity and it should reward a decade or more of cellar time.
