The 2014 Morey Saint-Denis Trilogie takes its name from the three vineyards it comes from, some 60% from Chenevrey. The vines average over 50-years-old. It has a lifted redcurrant and wild strawberry bouquet with a slight ferrous note, dried blood perhaps, lurking just underneath. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly rustic tannin on the entry. There is good acidity, although it needs just a little more flesh to come through on the finish.
Bright crimson. Correct and fresh. Crackling, pure red burgundy. No shortage of fruit. Lots of tannins but great energy.
