The 2012 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Aux Murgers tended to ripen earlier and was picked in the first two days of the harvest. It has a leafy, tertiary bouquet that complements the bright red berry fruit. The palate is quite sweet in the mouth, nicely balanced with a fleshier finish than the nose suggests. Fine.

Pure and focused, exhibiting raspberry and cherry flavors lightly accented by spice and mineral notes. Both delicate and firm, this features terrific balance and a lingering aftertaste of incense.
