Based on the 2015 vintage and complemented, as usual, by some 30% reserve wines from a solera of demi-muids dating back to 1986, this bottle of the NV Brut Reflet d'Antan saw tirage in 2017, followed by disgorgment in December 2019 with 0.6 grams per liter dosage. Mingling aromas of toasted nuts and candied peel with hints of honeycomb and fresh mint, it's medium to full-bodied, fleshy and incisive, with tangy acids and a long, sapid finish.
Exactly the same blend as the NV but reserve wine only. Disgorged December 2017, dosage 6 g/l. Multi vintage based on their perpetual reserve.
Very serious yet accessible. Complex, a particularly intense version of the NV, with a gingery finish.
