Winespectator (91)

This has a good juicy feel for the vintage, with pepper, plum, blackberry and black cherry fruit laced with tobacco leaf and green olive notes. A kirsch edge hangs on the finish. Shows better flesh and persistence than most 2008s.

Mid crimson going to ruby. Peppery and lively on the nose. Certainly different from the 2009s but very pretty. Very light and fresh and transparent. Very pure. Racy.
