The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Hameau de Blagny is showing well, unfurling in the glass with notes of citrus zest, white flowers and blanched almonds. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and precise, with racy acids, chalky grip and fine length, it's one of the highlights of the portfolio.
there will be more from 2019 onwards. This from a 2015 barrel which shows a little bit of wood in a friendly way. Feel the little limestone notes though on the palate, white fruit with some light yellow notes. A little bit more length and backbone Tasted: November 2019
