One of the highlights of the range is the 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Tête du Clos, a deep and complete wine evocative of pear, citrus zest, white flowers and buttered pastry. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, it's concentrated and structured, with terrific tension and mid-palate volume.
This too is overtly floral with plenty of spice nuances to the mostly white orchard fruit aromas. There is better volume and equally good mid-palate density to the sleek, delicious and tautly muscular flavors that flash solid power on the focused, clean and refreshingly dry finale. This firmly structured effort will need at least a few years of patience and should reward up to a decade of keeping.
