The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Village offers up aromas of pear, freshly baked bread, peach and frangipane, framed by a deft touch of youthful reduction. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and fleshy, it's rich but incisive, with lively acids and a precise finish.
More elegant aromas include those of various white orchard fruit, petrol and a floral whiff. The punchy and delicious medium weight flavors are not especially dense, but they are well-detailed while offering fine authority on the youthfully austere and dry in the best sense finish. This is a promising Chassagne villages and should drink pretty well young if that's your preference.
