Pure and perfumed, the 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Cabottes exhibits notes of raspberries, peonies, orange rind and sweet spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, pure and vibrant palate, its enveloping core of cool, succulent fruit framed by melting tannins, concluding with a saline finish.
A perfumed and airy nose combines floral notes, especially violet, with those of spicy black raspberry. The beautifully textured and seductive medium-bodied flavors conclude in a dusty, compact and moderately austere finish. This chiseled effort will need at least a few years of cellaring to add depth.
Clear vibrant mid crimson purple. This is charming from the very first minute, floral, perfumed dark raspberry fruit, few tannins, just enough acidity, long and stylish. Fine-boned is the word.
