Cherbaudes is a premier cru bordered by grands crus on two sides: Mazis-Chambertin on one and Chapelle-Chambertin on another. Bright red fruits of good intensity and supple flavors with plenty of Gevrey earth if not much density. But the quality of the finish is simply superb, lasting for several minutes. In fact, it's quite Charmes in style with its round elegant flavors yet impressive finesse. Drink this young for its terrific fruit.
