There is a smoky component to the ripe aromas of citrus confit, hazelnut and acacia blossom. The succulent but solidly intense medium weight flavors also possess fine concentration and volume before concluding in an attractively textured, sappy and sneaky long finale. Lovely.
Pale colour, relatively typical old style Meursault nose, quite chunky, plump fruit but not without a touch of salinity. Not refined but certainly pleasing. Tasted: October 2021.
